My Story:
First and foremost, I am a lover and patron of the arts. I was born in Nashville, Tennessee destined to live a life in the music world. The first record I spun as a four year old was Heartbreak Hotel. I was hooked then and there. Piano was my first instrument, but guitar, was and still is my greatest musical passion, beyond my abilities as a F.O.H. – Monitor and Studio Engineer. The later starting with a TEAC four track reel to reel, Fostex four track cassette, ADATs and now, a Pro Tools rig with some of the greatest guitars, keyboards, drums, outboard gear sound samples and plugins I could have ever imagined back when I started. I wrote and co-produced an album that I released in 2024 called ‘Salve For The Soul’ under the band name “Les Lonely and The Socially Distant”. I could go on with the stories of a lifetime of touring and 26 years at Walt Disney World Entertainment, but that would fill several volumes.
I own and operate a Pro Tools based recording studio using the latest and loaded Mac Pro Rack. I have a full suite of sound modules starting with Komplete 15 Collectors Edition, Modern Scoring Strings, LA Scoring Strings 3, Claire Bundle as well as the most used Universal Audio, Softube and Waves plugins. Monitors are a pair of Genelec 8361A’s with Genelec 7380A SAM Sub as well as a pair of Neumann KH120’s. My recording studio is a sanctuary for creativity. You can bring or send your projects to me for editing, mixing and mastering. While it is a small part of the services I offer, I will record VoiceOver work, books and music for film or broadcast. In most cases you need only show up with your talent as I have a wide variety of keyboards, guitar amps, drums, percussion (see photos and equipment list on home page).
Live sound and touring background:
I have devoted my life to bringing music to the World working with National and International Recording Artists thru my abilities as a Live Sound and Recording Engineer. Whether mixing for the audience or the band, I strive to deliver perfection. My goal is to make the band comfortable in the knowledge that they have an Engineer that understands their sound and how to translate that thru wedges, IEM’s, a combination of both or, at the F.O.H. mix position for their adoring fans.
I have toured as F.O.H. Engineer with, The Screamin’ Cheetah Wheelies, Bone Pony, Kennedy Rose, Tony Joe White, Stacy Dean Campbell, Leroy Parnell, Stan Lassiter Group, Shelly West These Are House Plants, Radio One and Nobody’s Business. I have mixed F.O.H. one offs or short engagements for Nils Lofgren and Andy Newmark, Christina Aguilera, Destiny’s Child, Jessica Simpson, DC Talk, The Four Tops and The Spinners. I have also toured in support of The Allman Brothers, Blues Traveler, Dave Matthews, Sheryl Crow, Meat Loaf, Jeff Healy, Marty Stuart, Travis Tritt, Spyro Gyro, and many more. I performed Monitor Engineer duties for The Royal Court Of China, Delbert McClinton and Pam Tillis
